On Earth-65, a few months after the Alchemax collider's destruction, Gwen Stacy grapples with her father's expectations, unaware of her identity as Spider-Woman. He wrongly believes she caused Peter Parker's death and hunts her. While investigating an intruder at the Guggenheim Museum, Gwen encounters a Renaissance-themed Vulture from another universe. Miguel O'Hara and Jessica Drew, armed with portal-generating watches, arrive and subdue the Vulture. Gwen reveals her secret to her father, who attempts to arrest her. Drew convinces O'Hara to recruit Gwen into the "Spider-Society." They leave Earth-65.

On Earth-1610 in Brooklyn, Miles Morales adjusts to being Spider-Man, dealing with his feelings for Gwen and parental expectations. He faces the Spot, a scientist with portal powers from the collider explosion. Blaming Miles, the Spot takes him to Alchemax and accidentally transports himself into a void. Miles watches Gwen trace the Spot across dimensions. Gwen opens a portal, and Miles follows to Earth-50101, encountering other Spider-People and battling the Spot. Miles has a vision of his father's death. Afterward, they're sent to Earth-928, meeting O'Hara, Peter B. Parker, and Mayday.

O'Hara explains that canon events are crucial, and Miles realizes his father's death is one. A chase ensues, and O'Hara reveals Miles was never meant to be Spider-Man. Miles escapes with Margo Kess' help. Gwen is kicked out of the Spider-Society, reconciles with her father, and decides to aid Miles with a portal watch.

Miles returns home, revealing his identity to his mother. In Earth-42, he encounters his deceased uncle, Aaron Davis, and the Prowler, refusing to help save his father. O'Hara, Drew, and Ben Reilly search for Miles on Earth-1610, while Gwen assembles a spider-gang. On Earth-42, Miles prepares to escape his binds.

In a climactic battle, Ariel defeats Ursula with Eric's help. Triton is freed, and he realizes Ariel's happiness lies with Eric. With Triton's blessing, Ariel becomes human permanently, marries Eric, and embarks on a world-traveling adventure.

One day, Bernie lets Ember manage the store. Overwhelmed, she accidentally floods the basement, summoning health inspector Wade Ripple. Wade threatens to report violations to his boss, Gale Cumulus. A chase ensues, leading them to Gale at Cyclone Stadium.

Gale offers to spare the store if they fix a dam in Fire Town. Ember and Wade grow close exploring Element City. They fix the dam, and Gale lets Ember retrieve her favorite underwater flower. She must return home.

As Ember prepares to take over the shop, Wade confesses his love. She rejects him to please her father, leading to an outburst that damages the dam. Ember, thinking Wade is lost, finally confesses her love. She remembers a game and revives him. They leave for Ember's glassmaking studies, bidding farewell to their families.
