By Farrah Penn | Updated: March 19, 2019

A small and light GoPro camera can produce stunning videos, but I guess that you're feeling down because of the shakiness in your GoPro videos. It isn't unusual since there will be inevitably a lot of camera movement while you use GoPro to shoot sports or outdoor activities. Shakiness could happen even if we already use a gimbal and turn on GoPro's built-in video stabilization feature. What else can we do to get smooth GoPro videos? Yes, post-editing. Some video editing programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro are designed with video stabilization feature. Premiere Pro is professional, but pricy. Therefore, some people are wondering if the simple and free GoPro Studio has the tool to steady video and how to stabilize GoPro video in GoPro Studio if it has that function.

Besides video stabilization, VideoProc has so many other features, such as converting, compressing, denoising, cutting, cropping, merging, splitting, downloading, recording, and so on.

How to Stabilize GoPro Video in GoPro Studio?

GoPro Studio does come with many video editing features, but except for video stabilization. Even if GoPro Studio is available to stabilize GoPro video, you are no longer able to download it from official GoPro website because it has reached its end-of-life for support. Many people have turned to a GoPro Studio alternative for GoPro video editing.

Fortunately, there're third-party GoPro video editors that can stabilize GoPro videos, such as powerful Adobe Premiere Pro and cost-effective VideoProc.

VideoProc isn't as famous as Adobe Premiere Pro, but it does very well in stabilizing videos. Compared with Adobe Premiere Pro's Warp Stabilizer effect which is used to steady handheld footage, VideoProc's Deshake tool is easier to use and runs more smoothly. You don't need to have a high-end computer to guarantee normal work.
